Clients across the educational, healthcare and cultural fields benefit from Laurie Musgrove’s 30 years of fundraising experience. Laurie, who joined GG+A in 2006, particularly works with clients to build development and alumni programs, implement campaign planning, train staff, and maximize Board and volunteer development.

Prior to joining the firm, Laurie spent a decade at Bryant University as vice president for university advancement. Collaborating with executive leadership, she designed and completed Bryant’s first comprehensive campaign, which reached its goal 14 months ahead of schedule and concluded with $40 million in commitments against a $35 million goal.

Laurie also held key development roles at Villanova, Drexel and The Pennsylvania State Universities. At Villanova, she served as assistant vice president and director of major gifts as the University achieved its goal of $125 million for The Villanova Campaign. During her time at Drexel, she built and managed the University’s newly reorganized development program. At Penn State, Laurie oversaw the development of a regional volunteer program for The Campaign for Penn State and later served as executive director of development.

Additionally, she has been with the University of Missouri-Columbia, the University of Texas at Dallas, the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Fort Worth Opera Association and the Dallas Ballet.

Laurie holds a bachelor’s degree of music, music history and literature from Southern Methodist University.
