Donna K. Freddolino joined GG+A in 2008 as Senior Vice President and Managing Director. She previously served as Vice President, Solutions Development, for SunGard Higher Education Advancement Solutions. Donna managed a team of 24 consultants including a remote staff throughout North America, Asia, and Australia. During her 13 years at SunGard, Donna developed new practice areas for service and solution delivery, coordinated new business development and partnership/alliance, and managed consulting and professional services. She coordinated services for system implementation and consulted with many higher education clients including the University of Massachusetts, Amherst; Princeton; and Tufts. Donna’s client base also included institutions beyond higher education, such as the American Cancer Society and the Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula.
In addition to her extensive experience at SunGard, Donna spent 11 years with Michigan State University, first serving as Director of Prospect Research before becoming Director of Administrative Services, which she headed from 1986-1995. She was responsible for the selection and implementation of new alumni/donor and telemarketing systems during MSU’s first major capital campaign. Donna also directed all systems software and hardware selection and implemenation and provided campaign administration and institution-wide prospect management.
Donna has been a featured speaker for the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), the American Prospect Research Association (APRA), and the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP). She has been an active participant in professional development for the industry, writing articles on information systems for CASE Currents magazine, and is a valuable resource on advancement information systems and emerging solutions.
Donna holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Michigan State University.
