Glen Fendley, Vice President, joined Grenzebach Glier and Associates (GG+A) in 2008 with more than 15 years’ of professional experience in development and fundraising for a wide range of non-profit organisations. He offers clients broad strategic experience, having worked successfully in leadership positions in major fundraising campaigns for a range of nonprofit organisations, including the NSPCC, World Wildlife Fund for Nature, and Pestalozzi International.

Glen is currently the Capital Fundraising Director of Maggie’s Cancer Caring Centres, an award-winning charity with a network of drop-in centres in the UK, which aim to help those affected by cancer.

Prior to GG+A, Glen served at the helm of the philanthropic consultancy 3rd Solutions, where, armed with a proven track record of implementing best practices in fundraising, he worked with both established institutions and start-up initiatives. His clients ranged from leading higher education institutions in England and Scotland to international NGOs, based across Europe and the United States.

Whilst at 3rd Solutions, Glen worked closely with senior development professionals, chief executives, board leaders, and new philanthropists requiring advice on giving. Glen specialised in providing counsel on strategic planning, campaign readiness, major gift fundraising, developing alumni networks, board development, and staff training. He also served as the consultant for the UK Institute of Fundraising’s Best Practice for Major Donor Fundraising.

As an active member of the development profession, Glen has contributed to several publications on major gifts fundraising in the UK. Glen holds a BSc Hons in Management Studies from the University of Aston.
