How to Use GG+A’s Enhanced
“Update Prospect” Capability
GG+A DonorScape™ clients can update any previously-screened record with current stock prices and any new data that has been added or updated, from all twelve DonorScape™ sources, since the original screening.
Never before has prospect screening been so current, relevant, or dynamic, and GG+A is pleased to offer this enhancement at no additional cost to all DonorScape™ users.

To update a prospect record, follow these simple instructions:
1. Log in to your DonorScape™ account at www.mydonorscape.com
2. Click the “Data Results” tab in the upper-left corner of your screen
3. Select the prospect record you would like to update
4. Click the “Update Prospect” button

5. Allow 15 to 30 seconds for your screen to refresh, and the record will be updated with the most current information, including today’s stock prices and any source data updates.
6. All new information is automatically added, and the Gift Capacity Rating is re-calculated to reflect any relevant changes in the data. The “Last Update” field will display the current date.
Notes:
• Only Administrative users and Base users with single-search rights can update prospect records. Read-only users will not see the “Update Prospect” button. Administrators can edit user rights in the “Administration” tab.
• Only records that have been Wealth Screened previously can be updated. These records will have a Gift Capacity Rating of 1-9, and they can be updated as often as desired at no cost and without any deductions from the remaining searches available in your account.
• Records with a Gift Capacity Rating of 10 (Not Screened), or new records added in the “Search” tab, are not included in this enhancement and will continue to result in a deduction from the remaining searches available in your account. Administrators can view the number of remaining searches on the “Home” tab.
• Records updated from a prospect alert are included in the enhancement and can be updated at no additional cost and without a deduction in records. Administrators can manage prospect alerts in the “Administration” tab.

• Updating a prospect may result in a change to their initial Gift Capacity Rating. As such, the ratings in DonorScape™ may be different from ratings previously loaded into your donor management system. In addition, any changes made to the original Match Quality Rating or the deletion of selected matches will be overwritten by the update, necessitating further qualification of any new proximity matches (N, P or S levels).
